Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.

Property Access

  • Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. These are for member use only.
  • Security cameras are used to monitor the exterior of the home. One is pointed at the driveway and two are on trees in the woods pointed towards the house to watch for wildlife. No cameras are pointed inside or towards the hot tub.

Policies and Rules

  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
  • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Minimum age: 25 years.
  • Children allowed.
  • No events allowed.
  • This home is not pet friendly. Pets are not permitted.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals please visit: offroadadventuresnc (dot) com
  • Guests are responsible for supplying all their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment, etc.).

Fees and Payments

  • Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
  • All Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious amenities.
  • Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each. Hours: Thursday & Friday 4pm-10pm, Saturday & Sunday 1pm-7pm.
  • The summer concerts are open to all guests; however, there may be an admission fee for each person and a cash bar for food and drinks.
  • Cancellation Policy: Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Parking and Vehicle Information

  • Free parking is provided.
  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter (November-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
  • All BRMR homes offer well-stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. A "starter set" of paper products is provided at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. These items are enough for one night, or maybe two. Hair dryers are provided. Towels and linens are provided.
  • While enjoying your stay at this home, you have access to most amenities inside Eagles Nest. Amenities available to you include:
    • Great Camp: BBQ Pavilion, Amphitheater (location of summer concerts from May to the end of November), The Great Lawn, Playground, Hiking Trails, Ropes Course and Climbing Tower (seasonal), Mini-Golf Course, 24/7 General Store
    • North Pavilion: Ball Field, Sportsmans Lodge (unlocked portion only), Sports Court (Basketball and Pickleball), Dog Park, Walking Trail, Sportsman's Grille (Wed-Sun. Hours vary), Fire Pit, Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking)
    • Camp (BYO Equipment): Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Frisbee Golf, Archery (Restrooms and Pavilion coming soon!)
    • Vineyard: Food and Wine served
  • Please note all visitors on premise at the Winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.
  • Guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsman's Lodge in the event there is a wedding or other private party.

Safety and Emergency Information

  • Security cameras are used to monitor the exterior of the home for safety. No cameras are pointed inside or towards the hot tub.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals.
  • Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are provided.

Other Critical Details

  • Eagles Nest is an up-and-coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
